As an Online Educator in the Faculty of Education, you'll play a crucial role in delivering our Master of Education programme through the University of Melbourne Online. You'll have the opportunity to engage with students, facilitate learning activities, and provide expert guidance in Educational Leadership or Student Wellbeing. This flexible, part-time role allows you to balance your commitments while contributing to innovative online education.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Deliver Engaging Online Content: Facilitate learning activities and provide academic support to students in the Master of Education online programme.
* Assess and Support Student Learning: Undertake assessment tasks, provide constructive feedback, and mentor students throughout their educational journey.
* Contribute to Teaching Excellence: Participate in professional development, engage in peer review of teaching, and contribute to improving teaching and learning practices.
* Collaborate with Academic Teams: Work closely with subject coordinators and course coordinators to ensure high-quality educational delivery.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a passionate educator with a PhD or progress towards one, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver engaging online content while supporting student success in a flexible, remote environment.
You may also:
* Have a PhD or be progressing towards one in a relevant field.
* Possess experience in university-level teaching, particularly in online environments.
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Show the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team.
* Have a track record of supporting and inspiring students in their educational journey.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and improving teaching practices.
* Exhibit strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
