Human Resources Specialist Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to lead our people and compliance functions. This is a part-time role with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing human resources processes, including recruitment, probation, performance development, and workplace relations tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling all aspects of recruitment to offboarding, including providing quality induction processes
* Offering assistance and guidance with probation processes, performance development, and people management
* Working with colleagues to provide proactive injury management support, including claims processing
* Overseeing and improving administrative and compliance systems that support workplace and industrial relations tasks
Requirements:
* A Human Resource qualification and/or proven skills in similar roles, preferably in an education setting
* Working knowledge of injury management and people management practices and systems in a multi-occupational workforce
* Sound understanding and application of generalist human resource best practices
* Strong digital literacy, attention to detail, organisational, data entry, and document processing capabilities
* Championing of strong ethics, interpersonal and discretionary skills coupled with a commitment to quality service delivery
* An ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders
* Active faith
* A current Blue Card
