ABOUT THE ROLE
This NSW territory-based Business Development opportunity is focused on driving revenue growth through key distributor groups and independent networks. You'll take ownership of your region, building proactive relationships at buyer and product manager level while supporting store networks through regular in-field engagement. With a strong emphasis on planning, CRM utilisation and structured call cycles, you'll position the brand for continued market share growth.
Regular metro and regional travel forms part of the role, along with attendance at industry events and customer training sessions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Drive revenue growth across key customer segments, distributors, and independent store networks within the automotive aftermarket channel
* Develop and execute structured call cycles aligned to KPIs, sales targets, and market share objectives
* Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, product managers, spare parts retailers, and specialist workshops
* Deliver product training and technical education to trade stakeholders, reinforcing brand credibility and value proposition
* Identify, evaluate, and activate new go-to-market and margin expansion opportunities
* Lead pricing discussions with commercial confidence, balancing competitiveness and profitability
* Maintain disciplined CRM activity, pipeline management, and accurate sales reporting; analyse data (CRM and Excel) to identify trends and growth gaps
* Translate customer, competitor, and market intelligence into clear, data-backed strategic recommendations
* Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and supply chain teams to execute growth initiatives and resolve operational gaps
* Represent the brand at industry events, trade functions, and promotional activities to strengthen market presence
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
* Proven experience in a Business Development or Territory Sales role
* Automotive aftermarket or OEM industry exposure
* Demonstrated ability to self-generate leads and engage business owners
* Strong relationship-building and influencing capability
* Commercially minded with a focus on revenue and market share growth
* Confident delivering training and presenting to stakeholder groups
* Comfortable with regular travel and autonomous territory management
