About the role
We are seeking an Outage and Asset Management Technical Officer to join our team at Genuity Services Pty Ltd in Millmerran, Queensland. This full-time role is responsible for planning and execution functions for planned and forced outages, and supporting the development, implementation, and review of plant strategies at Millmerran Power Station. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our critical assets.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive outage and asset management plans to optimise equipment performance and minimise production downtime.
* Oversee the execution of scheduled outages, coordinating the work of maintenance teams and contractors to ensure all tasks are completed safely and on time.
* Analyse asset performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, making recommendations to enhance reliability and productivity.
* Provide technical support and expertise to operations teams, troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions.
* Maintain detailed records and reporting on outage activities, equipment condition, and maintenance programs.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between asset management, production, and business objectives.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification education in Asset Management or equivalent would be highly regarded.
* Advanced trade or tertiary qualification in engineering, maintenance, or a related technical discipline is essential.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience developing and managing outage work scopes and developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures along with quality assurance and test plans during overhaul periods is essential.
* Exposure and previous work experience in maintenance at a power station, asset management development and execution, and experience using JD Edwards would be highly regarded.
* Proficient in the use of asset management software and data analysis tools would be highly regarded.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and programs.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Thorough understanding of maintenance best practices, regulatory requirements, and workplace health and safety standards.
