RSA is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our growing team in either a Workshop-based or Field Service role, maintaining and repairing our diverse mobile heavy plant fleet. These are day-shift-only roles, with a vehicle supplied (to experienced candidates), accommodation and meals provided when working away. 3rd & 4th-year apprentices are welcome to apply
Workshop Roles: Our Dalby Workshop offers stability, with a 5/2 roster, allowing you to return home each night, with your weekends free. You'll be responsible for mechanical servicing, repairs, and maintenance of our fleet, with the potential to transition into field service work in the future. Accommodation can be provided if required.
Field Service Roles: For those looking for greater variety and challenge, our Field Service roles involve travel to project sites across QLD and NSW, providing on-site maintenance and repairs in diverse environments. This role requires experience or a strong willingness to work away.
About You
* Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent
* Experience with heavy earthmoving machinery or fixed/mobile crushing & screening plant. Welding and auto electrical experience desirable.
* Open manual Australian Driver's Licence & General Construction Induction (White) Card (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience with DIDO/FIFO rosters, experience working unsupervised
* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* You have demonstrated experience and general knowledge of the construction industry, civil engineering and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards;
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
