Founded by three mates in 2013, Varsity has grown from your favourite student bar into an entertainment hub. We serve burgers, wings and beverages across multiple venues in Perth and offer a fun, positive, and career-focused environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
What will you do?
Master food preparation, cooking and presentation to the Varsity standard.
Follow recipes and kitchen guides.
Ensure meals are served in a timely manner.
Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen, adhering to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines. Ensure staff follow kitchen cleaning systems.
Participate in all technical aspects of cooking, including grilling, deep frying, and cooking meat and poultry.
Work across prep, fry, grill, pizza and salad stations.
Assist with stock rotation to keep ingredients fresh for guests.
Deliver food and service to Varsity standards.
Support the training of the team.
Bring a passion for food and a positive attitude to every shift.
What will you bring?
Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred
Infectious enthusiasm and positivity
A can-do attitude
A love of good food and good times
Previous kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential
