Tungsten Structures is hiring a Brisbane‐based Structural Team Leader to lead one of our two core engineering delivery teams.
This is a critical leadership role focused on team stability, quality and client relationships. The role requires a calm, people‐first structural engineering leader with strong technical credibility and coaching ability.

The opportunity
Lead the Brisbane engineering pod, create an environment that feels clear, calm, accountable and well‐led. Provide technical review and QA discipline, guide project delivery, coach engineers, support client relationships, maintain and improve internal systems, and hold standards in a supportive manner.
What you will do
* Lead the Brisbane delivery pod day to day
* Provide meaningful technical review and QA discipline across projects

* Help maintain strong internal systems and improve them thoughtfully over time
* Hold standards without creating fear, bottlenecks or dependency

What we are looking for
* An experienced structural engineering team leader at Team Leader, Associate, Engineering Manager, Team Principal or similar level
* A calm, grounded, emotionally steady leadership style
* A people‐first leader who is clear on accountability and standards
* Low ego, respectful, able to build trust quickly
* Strong enough technically to lead reviews and make sound calls
* Adaptable and willing to step into an existing system before reshaping it
* Comfortable coaching performance and having candid conversations early
* Strong client judgement and clear communication
* Experience on large industrial, warehouse or related projects
* Holding or aiming to hold CPEng or RPEQ
