**About the Role**
As a **Blade Repair Technician - Rope Access**, you'll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine blades across sites in Australia. Using rope access techniques, you'll ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
This is a site-based travel role with all travel and accommodation provided while you're on site.
**Main responsibilities**
- Conduct composite repairs, lightning damage assessments, blade balancing and finishing
- Perform detailed inspections and complete repair documentation to a high standard
- Work at heights using rope access (IRATA standards)
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other technicians and site managers for smooth project delivery
**HSEQ responsibilities**
- Acts as a safety role model, encourages and recognizes others completing safe acts and intervenes when unsafe acts are being practiced.
- It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with, and follows the company's health, safety, environment and quality management system and takes an active part in the compliance and improvement of the management systems.
- The incumbent must report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems according to the management system processes/procedures.
- The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health, safety and/or environmental legislation to follow all company policies, procedures, guidelines, control measures, signage and permit conditions and to know what to do in an emergency.
**Qualifications and experience**
- **IRATA Level 3 preferred** (Level 2 considered with proven experience)
- Prior experience in wind turbine blade repair or composite work
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
- GWO Blade Repair certification (desirable)
- Cat 3-5 repair experience and evidence (desirable)
- Vestas LOTO accreditation (desirable)
- Willingness to travel and work across remote sites in Australia
- Strong safety mindset and excellent teamwork skills
- Australian working rights & valid international driver's license (visa support provided)
**Additional Requirements**
- Strong attention to detail and execution excellence.
- Good interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Able to effectively collaborate with employees at all professional levels and ability to respectfully follow supervision and support initiatives.
- Ability to read, comprehend and write in English.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders 60-125 meters in height plus carry items up to 25kg in weight.

Pay: $126,000.00 - $154,000.00 per year
