Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced Process Assistant to join the team at our Jandakot Fulfillment Center for a position on Day Shift, Tuesday-Friday from 0645 to 1700.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Support and work in all departments as required
* Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties etc
* Providing coverage for Area Managers
* Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)
* Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hours
* Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance
* Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance
* Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity
* Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals
* Assisting in keeping work area clean and organised
* Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area
* Coaching associates to work safely at all times
Basic Qualifications
* Availability to work 38 hours+ per week, and overtime as required
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
* Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment
* Leadership experience managing others
