Project Overview

The Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone Transmission Project involves building 90 km of 500 kV lines, 150 km of 330 kV lines, and an energy hub to transfer power generated by solar and wind projects. The project will be operational by 2028 and will unlock up to 4.5 GW of new network capacity.

About the Role

Our project is seeking a dedicated Site Administrator to support Energy Hubs and Substations teams. The role focuses on administrative and ad‐hoc tasks that streamline day‐to‐day operations.

Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the environment, finance and construction teams, including data entry, document management and report generation.
* Assist with tracking and managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate record‐keeping and timely reordering of supplies.
* Coordinate and schedule team meetings, including preparing agendas, booking facilities and organising catering.
* Support financial processing, including invoice management and expense tracking for the department.
* Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
* Assist in maintaining compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations through regular documentation and reporting.
Required Skills and Competencies
* 2–3 years' experience in an administrative role on large infrastructure construction projects.
* Competent with Microsoft Office software and good general computer skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven organisational skills and motivation to work towards team objectives.
* Good at multi‐tasking and demonstrates sound judgment, including balancing competing issues.
* Problem‐solving and analytical skills.
Additional Requirements
* 2+ years' experience in an administrative role (construction or engineering industry experience preferred).
* Construction Induction Training (CIT/White Card) obtained via face‐to‐face training.
* First Aid (Level 2) certificate, current at all times.
* Current driver licence and own reliable vehicle.
Location & Working Hours

Site based – Monday to Friday, DIDO approximate 8.30 am to 5 pm in the Merotherie office.

Preferred candidate locations: Mudgee, Dubbo or the Hunter Region; travel to site each day.
