MTC is a global leader in the corrections, detention, training and education sectors operating Job Corps centres, correctional facilities, detention centres, detention medical departments and workforce development sites globally.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
* Supports in planning, scheduling, and coordination activities across major programs and projects
* Coordinate and deliver project activities, track deliverables, and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and status reports across assigned initiatives
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of smaller initiatives including process redesign, policy uplift, system configuration improvements, and operational efficiency projects
* Complete process mapping activities to understand current state and design future state processes
* Support with analysis of data to identify trends, themes, root causes and opportunities
* Support the preparation of project steering committee materials, progress reports, and executive updates
* Maintain the central project register, ensuring all initiatives are captured, classified and current
* Support the project intake and selection process, including coordination of intake documentation, assessment, and scheduling of review forums
To be successful:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Human Resources, or a related field desirable
* Project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile/Scrum) preferred or working towards
* Preferably 2–5 years of experience in a project coordination, PMO, or Executive Assistant style role involving planning, coordination and organising complex activities
* Experience operating within a demanding environment with various priorities and strategic activities
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously
* Clear and confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to produce professional reports, summaries, and governance materials
* Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of initiative and ownership
* Proof of right to work in Australia
