Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day‑to‑day delivery of Detail Excavations and FRP (Formwork, Reinforcement, Pour including Precast Install) packages across multiple work fronts.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site crews, and suppliers to ensure high productivity and efficient resource allocation.
- Implement and enforce strict safety, quality, and environmental standards in alignment with company and legislative requirements.
- Develop both long‑term and short‑term programs, monitoring progress against overall construction schedules.
- Provide clear direction, mentoring, and support to site teams and junior supervisors.
- Liaise closely with Project Engineers, Foremen, and Senior Management to plan and execute structural works effectively.
- Conduct detailed site inspections, quality checks, and pre‑pour inspections to maintain project standards.
- Oversee logistics and material management to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
- Prepare accurate, true, and correct daily site diaries, reports, and progress updates for internal and client reporting.
- Proactively identify and resolve site issues, design clashes, or delays to maintain progress and mitigate risks.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant trade qualification or tertiary education in construction, civil, or structural engineering.
- Supervisor Certificate and Trade Certifications in construction or civil disciplines.
- Qualifications or training in Safety, Environmental Management, Quality, and Sustainability standards.
- Current First Aid Certification and relevant WHS credentials.
- Extensive experience supervising Detail Excavations, Formwork, Reinforcement, Concrete, and Precast Installation Structure Packages in the commercial, civil, or infrastructure sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors in high pressure, deadline‑driven environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of structural concrete construction, excavation methodologies, formwork systems, and reinforcement detailing.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration, team development, safety culture, and high performance.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience using project management and site reporting platforms (e.g., Procore, Aconex, or similar).
- White Card, Silica Exposure, Site Supervision or similar certification, and Asbestos Awareness Certifications are essential.
