Your new role
As the Project Coordinator - Domestic Admissions, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end admissions process for local students, ensuring all applications are assessed accurately and in line with established guidelines. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners, including UAC, to maintain smooth operations and consistent service delivery. The role also involves supporting system updates, training new team members, and contributing to process enhancements. You'll be part of recruitment events, including Open Days, and expected to work flexibly during peak periods such as the Christmas break.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll bring strong communication skills-both written and verbal-and feel confident presenting to groups. Your background in the domestic education sector, whether in admissions or a related area like secondary education, will be highly valued. You'll be comfortable navigating change and ambiguity, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. A collaborative mindset is essential, along with the ability to work independently when needed. You must be available to work on campus two days a week (currently Tuesday and Thursday), with flexibility around hours for events and seasonal demands. Experience with UAC or similar systems is a bonus, but not essential.
