We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Administration Officer to take on key responsibilities in our finance department.
Main Accountabilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records for accounts payable, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and account balancing processes.
* Prepare and submit BAS, PAYG, and superannuation reports in a timely manner.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring seamless financial operations.
* Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required, maintaining excellent communication skills.
* Perform various administrative duties, providing clerical support to the team.
The successful candidate will possess:
* At least 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, with a strong understanding of accounting procedures.
* A high level of attention to detail, with proven quality and accuracy of work.
* Experience using Xero software, with intermediate-level proficiency.
* Strong reconciliation skills, with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks, ensuring efficient workflow.
* Intermediate level of Word and Excel, with ability to create professional documents and spreadsheets.
