Our client is a well-established, family-operated Engineering firm renowned for delivering high-quality design, fabrication, installation and maintenance services. They provide full end-to-end solutions servicing the water infrastructure, road/rail, government, energy and defence sectors throughout South East Queensland. Due to new contracts being awarded, they are looking to expand their growing team, and are seeking Trade Qualified Boilermakers for a Workshop Based position. This role will be well suited to a motivated tradesperson, with strong fabrication experience & a commitment to quality workmanship. Your New Role: Working with a variety of metals including aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel & heavy structural – MIG / TIG welding Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings and specifications Fabrication and assembly of various components Measuring, cutting, grinding, and fitting materials accurately Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship What We’re Looking For: Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent Experience with a variety of metals & welding techniques, with extensive experience in fabrication Strong work ethic and reliability Proven experience with references to back up your ability Manual Driver’s License, EWP, Confined Spaces or Forklift (desirable but not essential) What We Offer: Competitive rates Consistent hours with an excellent pipeline of works Workshop based position Weekly pay, and ON TIME!
