Established in 1991 by Ainslie Davies in/ainslie-davies/, the practice offers podiatry services to the local community and services local retirement village and Buderim Private Hospital.
Role Description
This is a part time, 3 days per week, on-site role for a Podiatrist located in Buderim, QLD.
Potential to grow to full-time or flexible working arrangements.
Work in a team with 2 experienced podiatrists, an allied health assistant and full reception and instrument sterilising support.
The Podiatrist will be responsible for providing podiatry care and reporting using Pracsuite.
This includes diagnosing and treating conditions related to Medical conditions, general podiatry, nail surgery, Biomechanics, Orthotics, Diabetes and other issues related to foot and ankle.
Small lab onsite for orthotic adjustments, external labs manufacture devices.
Commission available on shoe sales.
Support for CPD with payment of 50% membership of APodA.
Qualifications
Excellent knowledge of podiatry and related fields such as Medicine, Biomechanics, Orthotics, and Diabetes
Ability to diagnose and treat conditions related to podiatry
Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration
Hold professional registration, drivers license, be willing to undertake necessary Police checks and vaccinations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Bachelor's degree in Podiatry
Experience working in a clinical setting
Endorsed prescribing is a plus
