About The Role
As the Head of Department - The Arts, you will lead curriculum development in line with school and departmental initiatives, support teaching staff, and drive high-quality, engaging learning outcomes across all Arts subjects, including Dance, Drama, Music, Media Arts, and Visual Arts. You will play a key role in delivering the vision of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and nurturing positive relationships among students, teachers, and stakeholders. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for creative education, a commitment to student achievement, and the ability to inspire both staff and students within a collaborative and future-focused learning environment.

* Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
* Set high standards for student and staff performance.
* Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
