The Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Superintendent or Team Leader to coordinate, manage, and deliver the end-to-end project life cycle for high-profile urban/land development, subdivision, earthworks and urban renewal projects. With previous experience in the urban/land development market, the successful candidate will apply innovative, economical and practical methods to drive the success of complex, high-priority, major urban development projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage complex and large-scale urban projects from start to finish, including feasibility, design and construction management
* Apply project management and project governance disciplines to achieve reliable performance in terms of sophistication, timeliness and quality
* Undertake financial management, client liaison and contract administration of assigned projects
* Provide oversight and governance to resolve project issues and ensure high-quality project outcomes
* Promote and apply internal project management requirements
* Provide coaching and support to project personnel
* Undertake technical problem-solving
* Source, build and maintain strong and effective client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Minimum 8 years domestic superintendency or project management experience, with an urban development/land development focus
* Previous experience working within an Engineering Design Consultancy
* High level communication skills to advise and guide project delivery in a proactive manner
* Knowledge of relevant design codes, local regulatory authority guidelines and Australian Standards
* A track record of achievement in a similar role and a passion for building trusted relationships with tier one developers to drive positive change and win new work
