Job Overview
The Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol related care to the residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands, and Banana areas.
We work in collaboration with local hospitals, other mental health and alcohol and other drugs teams, as well as primary health, community, and private sector providers to reduce symptoms of mental illness and facilitate recovery.
About the Position
The Court Liaison Service is responsible for providing mental health assessment and diversion or referral for people appearing before the Magistrates' court or detained in the local watch house.
Requirements
To be eligible, you must hold one of the following qualifications:
* Registered Nurse: A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent registration with a relevant authority.
* Social Work: A tertiary degree qualification from an accredited institution in Social Work and eligibility for full membership to a relevant professional association.
* Occupational Therapy: A tertiary degree qualification from an accredited institution in Occupational Therapy and registration with a relevant authority.
* Psychology: A four-year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited institution and full registration with a relevant authority.
What We Offer
Total remuneration up to $13,684 per month includes hourly rate between $66.85-$72.58, employer superannuation contribution, and leave loading.
