About Us
Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services Schools and ELCs.
The CEO provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools and ELCs. These Service Areas include; Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology and People and Culture.
About The Role
The Inclusion Officer leads initiatives that support students with diverse needs, provides expert guidance to schools, and collaborates with external partners to enhance wellbeing and inclusion. The work empowers educators, strengthens communities, and makes a real difference in the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
* Coordinate and provide leadership and specialised support and advice in the development and implementation of programs for students with disabilities and behavioural challenges.
* Partner with external organisations to enhance student inclusion and well being.
* Provide quality support through targeted intervention and strategy development to schools and staff to support the inclusion and well being needs of students.
About The Team
The Inclusion Officer sits in the School and Family Services team and helps to support the Archdiocese in a variety of ways, including through work with clinical experts and curriculum advisers to support schools and their communities at a local level. The role provides insightful and culturally sound advice to schools, teachers and wider staff to ensure the continued growth of curriculum and programs across all schools in the Archdiocese. The Inclusion Officer works as part of a team that is education first to make impactful change with a hands on approach within schools.

Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualifications in Disability Education or Inclusive practices and teaching experience in supporting students with diverse needs are requirements of this position.
* ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Driver's Licence.
