About the Role
Are you a recent or soon-to-be graduate in Urban or Town Planning with a passion for shaping sustainable communities? Premise is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Town Planner to join our dynamic Environmental Team in Orange, NSW.
Key Responsibility
- Assist in preparing town and environmental planning reports and proposals.
- Liaise with clients, councils, and approval authorities.
- Contribute to a variety of planning and development projects.
- Support project delivery from concept to completion – on time and within budget.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification (or near completion) in Urban or Town Planning or a related discipline.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Eligibility for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia (preferred).
- Passionate about planning and environmental sustainability.
Required Experience
- A robust communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Eager to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiar with planning legislation and environmental issues (or willing to learn).
- Proficient in or willing to learn GIS tools.
