Casual position's available for female Support Workers rostered over mornings, afternoons, and active overnight shifts over a 7-day week, in our Strathalbyn team.
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering people with disabilities to live their best lives by providing compassionate, personalised support that allows them to thrive and participate actively in their communities.
Does this sound like you?
* experience working with complex medication administration
* PEG feeding, bowel, continence care and diabetes management (training provided)
* Experience with non-verbal communication strategies
* Available to work across the week including afternoons, on call and active overnight shifts

What you'll be doing
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide support with household duties including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
* Advocate for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights and choices are respected
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised support plans
What you'll need to have
* A Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability (or equivalent) students welcomed
* A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* NDIS Worker Check & Working with Children Check
* Passion for health and safety demonstrated through maintaining First Aid, CPR & Safe Environments for Children & Young People
* A positive attitude with flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster including passive overnight shifts
