Logistics Operations Specialist
The Logistics Operations Specialist is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods across the supply chain and driving operational efficiency nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate inventory records and prevent stock loss across all locations through diligent monitoring and proactive measures.
* Effectively manage delivery requirements and promptly resolve any discrepancies that may arise, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
* Coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouse teams to facilitate timely stock movement and customs clearance, fostering strong relationships along the way.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with warehouses, operations teams, and third-party logistics providers to optimize logistics performance.
* Support stock-take activities and monitor key logistics metrics to inform data-driven decision-making.
* Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for operational improvement and support new projects that drive business growth.
* Troubleshoot complex logistics issues, including those related to automated warehouse systems, to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements:
* Demonstrate exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills for liaison with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating seamless information exchange and collaboration.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and possess knowledge of logistics software to drive operational efficiency.
* Minimum two years' experience in logistics operations, with a strong track record of delivering results and driving process improvements.
* Experience in retail coordination, automated warehouses, or 3PL management is highly desirable, as is a valid driver's license for occasional travel.
