Your Role
Job Description:
* You will be working alongside senior project managers and technical leaders to understand project requirements and support them with monitoring progress to meet objectives, forecasting, and budgeting.
* You will be involved in complex projects from day one, working on a range of projects, including transmission and distribution projects (i.e. substations, overhead lines, cables), in addition to iconic hydropower and pumped storage schemes, conventional and advanced thermal power generation, recycling systems and mining and minerals.
Each day is varied, but your role is targeted to ensure that projects are delivered as efficiently and effectively as possible. Your role will include:
* Team/client meetings
* Financial updates/reporting
* Progress reports
* Health & Safety Management (i.e. RMS1 forms)
* Scheduling/budgeting
* Work closely with electrical and civil engineers
About You
Stantec values your potential over past experience. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Design and a keen interest in the Energy sector, you'll be:
