Medical Secretary
. This permanent part-time role (72 hours per fortnight) supports our consultant doctors and is integral to providing patient care and support. The role offers excellent hourly rate and a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of patients receiving cancer treatment.
What You'll Do
Greet patients with warmth and compassion, making them feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk in.
Manage incoming calls, answer patient inquiries, and schedule appointments to keep operations running smoothly.
Enter patient information with precision, process billing, and maintain accurate patient records.
Monitor and oversee administrative care paths, ensuring every step is efficient for patients.
Safeguard confidential patient information and ensure accurate management of medical records.
Support Workplace Health & Safety Officers and promote Icon's vision and values across all activities.
What We're Looking For
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks calmly.
Exceptional communication skills with patients, carers, and colleagues.
Tech-savvy – proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Client-service excellence and a passion for providing outstanding service.
Experience in administration or secretarial work (highly regarded but not essential).
