Join Project Ceres in Karratha (20:8 roster). Clough is delivering Australia's largest urea plant and is looking for a Special Class Welder to join the project team.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform high‐precision welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, special alloys, and other materials.
* Use advanced welding techniques (TIG, MIG, FCAW, SMAW) according to technical specifications.
* Interpret technical drawings, welding schematics, and specifications.
* Visually and instrumentally inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
* Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
* Maintain workplace safety and comply with company and industry regulations.
* Document welding activities and complete technical reports.
Qualifications
* Certification as a Special Class Welder (e.g., ASME, ISO, AWS).
* Proven experience with complex welding tasks within industrial settings.
* In‐depth knowledge of materials and metallurgical properties.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
* Experience working at heights and in confined spaces.
* Full working rights in Australia.
