We are seeking experienced payroll professionals to support remediation and contribute to system and process improvement projects across our organisation.
Job Description
This is a 6–12 month contract with flexible work-from-home arrangements for candidates who reside outside of the office locations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting remediation activities, improving payroll accuracy, and assisting with system enhancements.
You'll work collaboratively with payroll, HR, auditors, and staff across our organisation, helping to ensure compliance, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the finalisation of salary, wage and Long Service Leave (LSL) validation activities
* Assist with back-payment calculations and processing for current and former employees
* Contribute to remediation activities as directed by the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO)
* Prepare reports and data for payroll leadership
* Assist in the implementation of LSL system and process improvements
* Perform other project-related duties as required
Requirements
Experience
* Qualifications in payroll, accounting or equivalent experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in high-volume, end-to-end payroll processing
Key Capabilities
* Accurate and detail-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in MS Office
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* A collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset
