About the role
We currently have an exciting development prospect for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Receptionist within our Broom Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation on a part time 24 hours per fortnight basis. This role also includes an ‘on call’ component and requires work on weekends and public holidays so flexibility is required.
Reporting to and supporting the Service and Administration Coordinator the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing a high level of customer care to service users of our Broome Short Stay Facility. You provide administrative support in the form of overseeing petty cash and purchase orders, managing invoicing and front office receipting of payments, administration of all accommodation reservations, reporting of facility maintenance and faults and reporting any security issues through the appropriate channels.
About you
The successful applicant will be well organised with an aptitude for working with people from a variety of backgrounds adhering strongly to the values of compassion, respect and integrity. You thrive in a collaborative, busy team environment and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level. You will have a track record of being solutions-focused, with a knack for problem-solving. In addition, exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail are essential attributes for this role.
Additionally, to be successful in the role you will have the following:
- Experience working in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Accreditation Quality Standards is desirable.
- Demonstrates an understanding of your own safety and that of others in the workplace.
- Evidence of Covid and Influenza Vaccination (or approved exemption) desirable
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid Certificate
- Driver’s License
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
