Job Overview:
This role involves leading the technical operations of a vehicle manufacturer's aftersales services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that dealership technicians have the necessary skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicles according to the manufacturer's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for dealership technicians, both in-person and remotely.
* Design and maintain training content, assessments, and hands-on modules that align with the manufacturer's global standards.
* Provide on-site technical support, mentoring, and diagnostic assistance to technicians and aftersales managers across the dealership network.
* Monitor and analyze technical trends using data analytics tools, resolving recurring issues and supporting product rectification and reporting.
* Collaborate with OEM engineers and internal teams to manage recalls, service campaigns, and technical communications.
* Oversee technical support operations, ensure compliance with training key performance indicators, and promote a customer-centric culture across the network.
Requirements:
* You must have more than 3 years of technical experience in distribution or workshop settings, with exposure to dealership service operations and NEV systems.
* You should hold a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
* You must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and drive results in dynamic environments.
* You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and hold a valid driver's license. Travel nationally and internationally for dealership support may be required.
