Aircraft Maintenance Specialist - AW139
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Newcastle, NSW.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out repairs on client aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations and technical publications.
* Accurately documenting all maintenance tasks, ensuring work sheets, logs, tracking systems, and other required records are completed and submitted promptly.
* Collaborating with managers, engineers, pilots, and emergency service teams to optimize aircraft availability and performance.
The essential requirements for this position include:
* Experience in Heavy Maintenance and worked on the fleet of Leonardo AgustaWestland AW139 helicopters.
* CASA licensed on the AW139.
* Strong teamwork skills.
* Ability to follow supervisory direction.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude.
* Passion for safe work practices.
* Valid work visa.
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain).
* Current Australian Driver's license.
