Are you looking for a new part-time Payroll Officer position?
Randstad is working on a new part-time payroll opportunity for a reputable construction company based in Macquarie Park. This is a 3 day a week role reporting into the senior payroll specialist.
About The Role
This exciting permanent part-time opportunity is for an experienced Payroll officer with approx 2 years experience. You will be reporting into a knowledgeable Payroll Specialist and also be supported by the wider Accounting & HR team.
You will be processing the payroll using the employment hero system, current or prior experience with this system will be highly advantageous but not essential.
Located in Macquarie Park, this 3 day a week role offers flexibility of working from home and the office. Depending on your experience, the salary for this role is ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 + super. Parking is available for staff and office is also close to public transport.
Key Responsibilities
* End to end payroll processing for weekly and fortnightly staff (approx 250)
* Perform payroll administration and maintain the payroll system with up to date employee records.
* Keep up to date with local legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, etc.
* Process payroll leave.
* Process new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employment changes
* Responding to all payroll inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
* Assist with any payroll projects or ad hoc tasks
About You
* Preferably have worked payroll for 2+ years
* Employment her exposure would be beneficial but not essential.
* Ability to interpret awards and legislation.
* Experience in an end to end payroll function would be beneficial.
* Knowledge or prior experience working within the construction industry would be a bonus.
