About the company/role:
* Leading technology company who develops products for a wide range of applications
* Located in Bacchus Marsh
* Full training is provided
* 2-month casual contract, working 2 days a week
* Contract potentially may extend further
Duties:
* Mixing of powders and chemicals
* Processing of samples
* Basic analysis of samples using basic laboratory techniques
* Record keeping of all samples and documents
* Supporting R&D and QC staff on pilot plant activities
* Ensuring safe operating procedures are maintained
Skills & experience:
* Bachelors of Science in Chemistry or similar discipline
* Previous experience in a laboratory setting
* Previous experience within a manufacturing setting working with powders/chemicals is highly advantageous
* Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly
* High attention to detail and strong safety mindset
