Job Role:
We are seeking a Public Health and Safety Professional to proactively patrol the municipality, liaising with residents to resolve complaints and disputes.
You will work closely with our team addressing local laws breaches and conducting investigations into various issues such as littering, unsightly properties, and noise complaints.
Main Responsibilities:
* Establish positive communications with the public to educate and promote compliance with statutes, legislation, and local laws
* Support the administration of provisions under applicable legislation, Acts, Regulations, and Local Laws
* Investigate complaints related to nuisance provisions of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act
* Provide support for legal proceedings as directed
* Assist in accessing and processing relevant Local Law provisions
About You:
We require someone with qualifications or experience in statutory compliance roles or a related field. Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct investigations into potential breaches of legislation are essential.
