As the Group Head of Safety and Wellbeing, you'll lead initiatives to create a safer, healthier workplace.In this dynamic, operational, and hands-on role, you'll oversee safety protocols, workers' compensation, and self-insurance. Collaborating with the Group Chief People Culture Officer and HR team, you'll develop and implement our Safety and Wellbeing Strategy and Safety Management System, addressing operational risks.Key duties include:Developing and managing CFL’s Safety and Wellbeing Strategy, policies, and processes, ensuring ISO45001 compliance and best practices.Implementing evidence-based risk frameworks, managing safety performance indicators, and overseeing related technology and programs.Ensuring accuracy in safety performance reporting, leading governance, and identifying improvement opportunities.Monitoring safety data, conducting training, and ensuring legislative compliance.Managing workplace hazards, incident investigations, injury prevention initiatives, and workers' compensation premiums.Maintaining data integrity and system adherence, leading the workers' compensation self-insurance function.Strategically, you will:Lead and review safety and wellbeing strategies, monitor objectives, and identify improvement opportunities through data analysis.Support operational problem-solving and regulatory engagement.Collaborate with franchisors and industry peers to align safety practices.Provide leadership and coaching to your team, establishing clear goals and fostering talent development.To succeed, you will have:At least 10 years in senior safety and wellbeing leadership, preferably in retail, hospitality, or non-profit sectors.Experience in psychosocial risk management and influencing senior stakeholders.Strong strategic, operational, and compliance knowledge, especially in workers' compensation and self-insurance.Proven leadership of high-performing teams and data-driven decision-making skills.About Collins Foods Limited:We are an ASX-listed company with over 17,500 employees, operating over 350 KFC and 27 Taco Bell restaurants across Australia, the Netherlands, and Germany, with a vision to be the world’s top restaurant operator.Why join us?Up to 13 paid "Recharge Days" annually, flexible WFH options, and a mentorship program.Ownership Share Plan, long service leave after 7 years, and energy reduction commitments.For more information or to request the full job description, contact recruitment@collinsfoods.com.We are committed to diversity and inclusion, offering equal opportunities and flexible working arrangements.
