The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a qualified Industrial Electrician to join our busy maintenance team at our Rockingham facility. This role has excellent above market rates of pay and conditions for our industry and is available for qualified electricians. Working as part of a busy team and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, our electrician team members provide key support to production by ensuring that the machine, plant and equipment are safe and working efficiently, performing the preventative care and maintenance program on existing equipment and attending to any breakdowns or issues of the same.
This is a full-time role with overtime hours, rostered morning and afternoons and some weekend work. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment examination to meet the inherent requirements of the role.
What We Need from You
* You must hold the recognised Trade Certification
* Have the right to work in Australia
* Previous experience in a food production environment or similar
* An interest in developing expertise, skills and technical abilities
* Well-developed fault finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
* High level of self-motivation
* Able to work in a small team and/or without close supervision
* Able to fault find and make decisions and repairs whilst under pressure
* An understanding or training in Mechatronics will be highly valued
