Chief Operating Officer - Manufacturing Environment (Perth WA)

Essential Experience
Senior operational executive with end-to-end accountability across complex, asset-intensive industrial or manufacturing operations. Demonstrated experience leading multi-site operations spanning manufacturing, fabrication, refurbishment, maintenance, or industrial services activities. Proven capability delivering operational integration, transformation, or scale-up initiatives in high-change environments. Strong track record embedding and sustaining a safety-first culture within WHS-critical operating environments. Clear experience holding operational P&L accountability for a material revenue base (circa $100M+ per annum), including cost control, margin improvement, and delivery against commercial targets.
Operational Capability
* Strong leadership across core operational disciplines including - Production planning and capacity management
* Scheduling, throughput optimisation, and delivery reliability
* Asset utilisation and lifecycle decision-making
* Inventory, logistics, and supply-chain coordination
* Demonstrated ability to identify operational bottlenecks, implement preventative solutions, and establish scalable operating processes and standards
Commercial & Strategic Acumen
Commercially astute operator able to align operational capability with customer demand and growth strategy. Experience partnering with finance and executive peers on forecasting, capital investment, and performance reporting. Ability to balance short-term operational delivery with long-term operational maturity and value creation.
Leadership Profile
* Credible, hands-on leader able to operate effectively at both executive and operational (shop-floor) levels
* Experience leading senior and middle management teams within a manufacturing environment and holding leaders accountable for outcomes
* Strong coach and mentor with a demonstrated ability to build high-performing operational leadership teams
Background & Qualifications
* Experience gained within industrial manufacturing, engineering, resources services or similarly complex operating environments
* Engineering, trade, or business qualifications strongly preferred; executive leadership training advantageous
* Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance obligations, and operational governance frameworks
