Job Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels. You will also investigate inventory discrepancies, issue and return stock, and data enter stock in the Inventory Management System.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels
* Investigate inventory discrepancies and document stock transfers and returns
* Accept deliveries and manage inbound/outbound freight
* Ensure safe and efficient storage of all inventory
* Perform area inspections to ensure safe operations
* Support continuous improvement initiatives
* Establish min/max stock levels for efficient inventory control
* Raise and receipt purchase orders in line with policy
Requirements:
You will need:
* Previous stores/inventory management experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment
* Australian Manual Drivers licence
* Current forklift ticket
* Strong computer skills
* Ability to interpret maintenance parts as well as knowledge of other mine site consumables will be well regarded
