Your new role:
* Conduct servicing, repairs and maintenance on a large fleet of Liebherr R996, R9600 and R9400 Excavators
* Diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs efficiently and safely
* Carry out planned maintenance and scheduled servicing within required timeframes
* Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems on heavy mining equipment
* Work autonomously and collaboratively within a maintenance team environment
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance
* Commit to procedure-based preventative maintenance and safe work practices at all times
What you'll need to succeed:
* Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
* Demonstrated post-trade experience in the mining industry
* Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Queensland driver licence
* Proven experience maintaining large-scale mining excavators, ideally Liebherr equipment
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with a safety-first mindset
