In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a focused team delivering complex, future focused technology and network integration projects, you’ll help shape how people and goods move across NSW.
This role will see you lead the planning, scoping and design phases of major technology initiatives, providing expert guidance across technical investigations, risk assessment, project documentation and stakeholder engagement.
You will champion new efficiencies and innovative approaches to technology development in a complex and fast paced environment, ensuring solutions are commercially sound, technically robust, and aligned with broader network objectives.
You’ll be exposed to a range of multimodal challenges, giving you opportunities to build capability in systems integration, governance, and assurance while helping deliver projects that directly impact the customer experience.

About you
Demonstrated project leadership, technical insight and stakeholder engagement expertise developed across transport, infrastructure, technology or similarly complex environments will see you navigate competing priorities, manage risk, build collaborative relationships, and deliver solutions that align with Transport’s strategic objectives.
You will be a strong communicator and trusted advisor, skilled at influencing and negotiating across technical and operational contexts, and experienced in developing project documentation, managing budgets, applying governance frameworks and driving quality outcomes.
Tertiary qualifications in, Design, Engineering, Construction, or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
The role is identified as a Rail Safety Worker (RSW) for resources working in the Rail Corridor. RSW certification can be obtained before, or shortly after, appointment to a project.
