Job Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to take on a senior role as a safety, health, environment and quality management expert.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of safety, health, environment and quality management plans across major projects. They will champion wellbeing programs, investigate incidents, deliver actionable insights, facilitate risk workshops and safety training, and mentor other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of SHEQ Management Plans across major contracts
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices
* Conduct due diligence to ensure project success
* Foster strong relationships to effectively manage subcontractors
* Design and facilitate risk workshops and safety training that engage teams
* Investigate incidents and provide actionable insights
* Champion mental and physical wellbeing programs
* Mentor and support other team members
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Environment or Quality
* ICAM investigation training (preferred)
* Lead auditor training (preferred)
* Current drivers license and construction white card
* Strong experience in industrial safety, ideally within utilities or infrastructure
* A collaborative mindset and ability to influence across all levels
* Integrity, resilience and drive for excellence
* Demonstrated ability to meet KPIs and deadlines
