Volunteer Management Specialist

About The Role:
* The successful candidate will support the implementation of Council's Volunteer Management Program.
* Analyse volunteer data to assess impact and identify opportunities for growth.
* Collaborate across departments to enhance volunteer engagement strategies.

* Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace through open communication and teamwork.
About You:
* A degree or diploma in human resources, business management, or a related field with relevant experience.
* Proven experience in developing and managing volunteer programs within local government or community settings.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Fair Work Act, Privacy Act, OHS, and Child Safety.
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet objectives.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with volunteer management software.
* Experience in policy development and understanding of local government structures and decision-making processes is highly desirable.
