Be a part of transforming Australia's digital landscape as a Customer Field Technician. You'll make a real impact to 'every-day' Australians in this customer facing role where you'll get to see the happy faces you help! We are looking for candidates based in the Albury area.

Job Role

As a Customer Field Technician located in Albury, you will play a vital role working on Customer Service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role where you will be responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of nbn products and services.

Typical Responsibilities

Your typical day could include any or all of the following functions while delivering exceptional customer service within your role:

* Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE

The role works between the hours of 7am to 7pm based on business needs and encourages a flexible working environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

We're seeking both experienced candidates as well as those with transferable skill from a communication cabling or electrical background and who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector. A large part of this role is working in customer's premises, so it will also be important you have exceptional customer service skills and can display honesty and integrity while being self‐managed and motivated.

We will also be looking for a current & clean Driver's License and strong, personable communication skills, both written and verbal.

To be eligible for this role, you must have full working rights in Australia. The preferred candidate will be required to undertake a Criminal History Check and a Pre‐Employment Medical Assessment to assess their ability to perform the genuine occupational requirements of the position.
