In support of our growth plans in Australia we are currently recruiting for a new position in our Brisbane Branch. This is a key role responsible for service delivery, customer relationships, team performance and commercial outcomes across a diverse customer base.
This role will involve:-
* Leading field service and workshop operations including job scheduling and resource allocation.
* Managing a small team of mechanical engineering tradespersons to meet customer expectations.
* Working closely with HOERBIGER sales and service personnel.
* Maintaining and promoting relationships with customers providing proactive communication and effective issue resolution.
* Identifying and implementing practical improvements to systems, workflow and service delivery consistency.
What you'll need to succeed:-
* Solid Background in mechanical service operations
* Proven leadership experience in a field-based technical service environment – compression technology is preferred, but strong adjacent backgrounds may suit
* Strong safety leadership and understanding of quality, safety and environmental systems and principals
* Proficient with service management/ERP and scheduling tools.
* Relevant formal education and training (Trade Qualifications in Fitting and Machining or Equivalent)
* Experience in working with customers in Oil and Gas or related industries (an advantage)
* Excellent communication & organisational skills
* A current Drivers License and Passport
The position is full time 38 ordinary hours onsite Monday to Friday.
