About the role
Reporting to Director of Procurement, you will be responsible for managing the category strategy, implementing the procurement procedures and post award activities for all essential goods and services.
Develop and put into effect mature plans for procurement categories.
Utilize industry-leading tools and processes for effective market strategies by conducting appropriate market and spend analysis and consulting with stakeholders.
Lead complex sourcing projects that are aligned with category strategies, including negotiations with suppliers, recommending awards, presenting business cases, and executing supplier contracts.
Execute procurement plans while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Ensure probity in the source-to-contract process.
Manage tender steering teams, project teams, and stakeholders throughout the tender process.
Negotiate contracts based on procurement principles that consider total cost of ownership, value creation, and risk mitigation.
Maintain sustainable procurement practices that align with industry-leading systems, processes, policies, financial integrity, and probity to preserve the credibility of the central procurement function.
Assist stakeholders and contract owners in the implementation of recent commercial agreements.
About you:
At least 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement and/or supply chain.
Experience in communicating with executive management and possessing robust communication skills.
Proven track record of delivering sustainable cost savings across various business areas.
Demonstrated experience in managing supplier performance and third-party contracts.
Solid understanding of strategic sourcing processes and procurement fundamentals.
Demonstrable project management skills, including prioritization and organization, with the ability to work independently on multiple projects.
Experience in consulting, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Experience in leading, guiding, persuading, and consulting with internal stakeholders
