Your Impact, With Us As our valued Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist), you'll provide warm, professional, and efficient administrative support across our busy Bundaberg clinics.You'll be the first point of contact for many of our patients, helping ensure their experience is smooth, respectful, and informed - making a meaningful difference from the moment they walk through the door.This is a full time role, and availability across a rotating roster between 7:00am and 6:00pm is essential.
We're looking for someone who can be flexible with shift times to meet the needs of the clinic.You'll make a meaningful impact by:Managing appointment bookings, rescheduling, and patient communicationsLiaising with hospital staff, doctors, and clinical teamsChecking patient GP referrals and Medicare data for accuracyAnswering incoming calls promptly and professionallyProcessing billing and receipting for patient accounts, including Medicare and DVASupporting the team with efficient use of our Health Track system What You'll Bring To succeed in this role, you will have:Experience in administration or customer service, ideally in healthcare or aged careStrong time management and prioritisation skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to support patients sensitivelyConfidence in billing/receipting medical accounts (Medicare and DVA experience preferred)Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environmentWe would also love you to have:A calm, professional attitude and a positive approach to fluctuating workloadsA collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvementHigh attention to detail and comfort with clinical administration software Why Advara HeartCare We're a values driven organisation where every person matters.
