THE ROLE We are seeking dynamic and experienced Scrub/Scout Nurses to work in our Theatres Department. Experience in ENT, Head & Neck and Ophthalmology surgeries are highly desirable. At Macquarie University Hospital, we offer extensive ENT and Ophthalmology surgeries including Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgeries, Removal of Pituitary/Skull Base Tumours, Rhinoplasties, Pan Endoscopies, Neck Dissection & Flap Reconstruction, Cochlear Implantation, Ossicular Chain Reconstruction, Cataract, Vitrectomy and Corneal Graft surgeries. As well as valuing education, this academic institution undertakes leading breakthrough research in the area of ENT & Ophthalmology surgeries. With Sub-speciality interest in Head & Neck, Oto Laryngology and Oculoplastic procedures, you will be exposed to the gamut of complex ENT and Ophthalmology surgeries. Holding regular multidisciplinary meetings where teams discuss cases and consider possible alternatives, our staff are encouraged to participate making informed decision for patients in a collaborative way.
