As a high-flying Chef de Partie in Brisbane, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a culinary expert.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation and bulk cooking of hot and cold meals for Business and Economy Class passengers
* Manage flight schedules, departures, and delays to ensure timely meal preparation and service
* Collaborate with Sous and Exec Sous chefs to plan daily menu items and ingredient requirements
* Maintain strict stock control and minimize food waste
* Enforce cleaning and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Ensure compliance with HACCP, Halal handling procedures, and workplace safety standards
* Pack airline carts correctly with equipment, dry goods, snacks, and beverages for each flight
About You:
* Relevant trade qualifications
* Passion for delivering high-quality food to customers
* Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Good organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy large-scale kitchen
* Previous experience as a CDP or Supervisor in a commercial kitchen environment preferred
