**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor entry and exit points; check IDs to verify age and enforce club entry policies.
- Ensure all guests and staff adhere to club rules and conduct codes.
- Conduct routine patrols inside and outside the club to deter disturbances or unsafe behavior.
- De-escalate conflicts and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies.
- Collaborate with management, bartenders, and performers to ensure a safe, smooth operation.
- Remove unruly, intoxicated, or non-compliant individuals in a professional manner.
- Document incidents and complete shift reports accurately.
- Assist in crowd control and ensure maximum occupancy is not exceeded.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous security and crowd control experience preferred.
- Valid [VIC] Security Guard License.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong observation and conflict resolution skills.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing for long periods.
- Professional appearance and demeanor required.
**Working Conditions**:
- Nighttime hours, typically weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Loud music and low-light environment.
- Exposure to intoxicated individuals and high-energy crowds.
**Preferred Physical Attributes (for Safety & Presence)**:
- Physically fit, with a commanding presence to deter potential disturbances.
- Able to stand for long periods and handle physically demanding situations if necessary.
- Height and strength sufficient to safely intervene in altercations or escort individuals off the premises.
