As a Dentist you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating personnel and providing advice in respect to the maintenance of oral health.You'll work with the latest equipment in modern clinics on base, with the support of fully-trained Dental Assistants. However from time to time you will be given the opportunity to travel, carrying out dentistry in the field on operations and exercises in Australia and overseas.As an Air Force Officer you'll also be responsible for the training, welfare and discipline of the airmen and airwomen under your command who make up your staff.
