Hybrid work arrangement based in Geelong.
Our client is currently redeveloping its internal communications platform.
As an Intranet Officer, you will be a key part of the team responsible for maintaining the current site while supporting a transition through significant change.
You will work within the Strategic Communications Division to deliver audience-centered communications that drive staff connection and collaboration.
What You'll Do Content Management: Develop and publish intranet content that aligns with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (conforming to at least AA level), relevant style guides, and plain English standards.
Stakeholder Support: Advise and support various business areas on intranet best practices and accessibility, using intranet performance to guide your discussions.
Technical Assistance: Handle intranet publishing requests via a service desk, either by actioning them directly or triaging them to other team members.
Project Contribution: Assist in the redevelopment of the organization's intranet, which includes migrating and uplifting content from the old platform to the new one, with a focus on document accessibility.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Strategic Communications division and other key internal stakeholders to achieve business and communication objectives.
About You Knowledgeable: You are a proactive and collaborative professional with a substantial knowledge and understanding of digital content principles and practices.
Expert Communicator: You are skilled at communicating with diverse stakeholders and can manage moderately complex issues with tact and sensitivity.
Independent: You are comfortable working with limited supervision, setting your own work priorities, and making decisions within established guidelines.
